Practical Information

Welcome to Villa L'Estanquet

Hello, you have just booked your stay at the Villa L’Estanquet, a wonderful beach house, overlooking the Mediterranean and the Escalet beach.
We thank you for your confidence.
On this page, you will find all the information you need for a pleasant stay.

Wifi code

The LiveBox is located near the television. On your computer, search for existing networks and select LiveBox DD90 . Enter the following code: Balinea83

Safe

A safe is available in one of the kitchen cupboards. The instructions for use are inside the safe. We advise you to use it during the day and take advantage of the one-way windows in the house, for greater discretion.

General presentation

We have provided you with a clean house, so, out of respect for the following tenants, we expressly ask you to return it in the same condition: clean and free of any rubbish. This also applies to the barbecue and the plancha.

We understand that you are on holiday during this period. You can easily contact Sophie who will take care of the cleaning at the end of your stay (4 hours of cleaning are necessary to restore the house to its original state in order to welcome the next tenants). If you wish, she can also take care of a few hours of cleaning during your stay. Her rate is 25€/hour. Please check this directly with her.

If your departure is scheduled for early in the morning, Sophie will automatically charge you for 4 hours of cleaning and will ask you to pay for it when she gives you the deposit at the beginning of your stay, i.e. the evening before.

It may happen that you break dishes or objects. Thank you for reporting this.

Furthermore, we ask you to respect the capacity of the villa, i.e. 6 people. Please enjoy the villa peacefully and do not cause any disturbance or nuisance. Parties and events that may cause a nuisance are not permitted.

Please inform us as soon as possible of any damage to the villa, its furniture or equipment.

Finally, please respect everything that we can put at your disposal and do not take anything that could belong to the house.

Television

Use the satellite remote control to change channels and the TV remote control to adjust the volume.

The lights

The two sea-facing rooms have electrical outlets controlled by the switches in the entrance to the rooms. Some sockets are equipped with dimmers. The switch in the living room is also equipped with a dimmer switch.

The windows

Please do not force. Most windows and patio doors (except for the living room and toilet) can be opened in tilt and turn mode if the handle is pulled up.

If you are unable to close the second casement of one of the windows, simply press the black button on the inside of the frame of the casement that was closed first, or rotate the metal tab. To open the large window doors, you have to pull the small tabs at the top and bottom of the closed casement (and, conversely, put the tabs back in by hand when you close them).

The entrance and living room doors are closed by lifting the handle before turning the key in the lock. The key is removed horizontally.

The toilets

We expressly ask you not to throw anything other than toilet paper into the bowl. You will be responsible for the costs of the emptying truck’s journey in this case.

The pool

Beware of children. The pool is equipped with a detector…

It is your responsibility. We decline all responsibility in case of accident.

Thank you for bringing in the mattresses when it rains.

Security

You are in a privileged place which, unfortunately, also attracts people with bad intentions. We therefore recommend that you exercise great caution. Remember to lock the doors and windows when you leave the house for the beach or any other destination. Do not leave valuables outside the house when you are away. Remember to lock the front gate and always lock the gate to the beach.

The house is equipped with two alarms. P2 is the general alarm (inside and outside), P1 is an alarm for the outside only, i.e. the general entrance gate plus the pathway gate. We advise you to use it when you are around the pool, you will avoid any untimely intrusion. Also use the general alarm when you are away from home. By following this advice, you will enjoy your stay and avoid unpleasant surprises.

Good plans

For your shopping needs, in each of the neighbouring villages, Ramatuelle, Croix-Valmer and of course Saint Tropez, in addition to the local shops open all year round, there are lovely markets held throughout the week in the summer. See Market Days for dates and locations.

Alternatively, you can have your food delivered to you by placing an order via the houra website. There are also small shops at Les Tournels (near the Camarat lighthouse, open from April to October) or larger ones at the Géant Casino in the Foux shopping centre or a Leclerc in Cogolin.

There is a sports club in L’Escalet (04 94 79 23 47). It offers various activities such as diving, paddle, canoeing and tennis. It is located at the foot of the house on the beach.

The gate of the garden opens on the coastal path, take the opportunity to walk to Cap Taillat, one of the jewels of the French Mediterranean coast.

Finally, you are very close to the prestigious vineyards of Provence. We encourage you to visit them. Minuty, in particular, organises free visits and tastings. They are located on the road between Ramatuelle and Gassin.
